Sarah Sachs is a Data Scientist and Portfolio Analytics Engineer whose career bridges sustainability, statistics, and civic technology. She has led and developed data-driven solutions across startups in fintech, electric & gas utilities, and reinsurance, delivering insights that use AI and machine learning to mitigate environmental and financial risks. She founded Block Party, a civic-tech platform that makes local policy discussions more accessible. Sarah taught Statistics and Decision Theory at SUNY New Paltz and holds a Master’s in Urban Informatics from NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Center for Urban Science and Progress (CUSP).
