Judith Bailey-Hung, MA, is a Behavior Intervention Specialist Coordinator and Supervisor at the Center for Innovation and Engagement at YAI. With over 33 years of experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in various settings, Judith holds a Master’s degree in psychology from Queens College. Judith has extensive expertise in supporting individuals with all levels of developmental disabilities, including those with comorbid psychiatric diagnoses. Currently, Judith provides clinical support and oversight to behavior intervention specialists across two regions within YAI and leads the Center for Innovation and Engagement, which focuses on bridging the digital divide for people with I/DD by delivering individualized technology solutions that empower people to live their best lives. Judith is passionate about ensuring that individuals receive the supports they need through a person-centered approach.
Judith has served as an adjunct faculty member at the College of New Rochelle and LaGuardia Community College, teaching courses on counseling, understanding developmental disabilities, and behavior modification. Additionally, Judith has contributed as a curriculum consultant for projects with LaGuardia Community College (CUNY) and the John F. Kennedy Jr. Center for Worker Education. Judith was honored with the 2025 NY City and State Non-Profit Trailblazer award and is a certified Living in Place Professional.
